My Lord,
I have the honour to acknowledgo the receipt of your Despatch No6 (1,7212/2673/317) of July 16th 1923 relative to the trostaat by the French suthorities at Baigen of immigruits of Chinese race but of Pritish Nationality. The statement in Mr, acting Consul General flo ɛg 's Despatch No.4 of April 16th 1923 th the effect that "asle tics (irrospective of nationality) are dealt with by the Service of Immigration" is incorrect wid apt to be mislea ding.
